FAQ
We support all iOS devices running iOS 15 or upwards, as well as Android devices with Version 8 or higher.
We comply with all GDPR standards and give you full control over your data. Your data will not be used commercially or provided to any third parties.
As part of our project goals, we will publish fully anonymised datasets including the consumptions that you entered into the app. You will not be identifyable, and all personal information is completely removed from these datasets. These anonymised, aggregate datasets will be freely available to download and help other researchers to understand the energy behaviour of European Citizens better.
You can download your personal data directly from within the app. Go to the “Settings” tab and select “Download my data”.
This will provide you with all the data we have on you regarding your app usage. Please note that your personal data download is not anonymised, so be careful when sharing it with others.
The file is provided as a JSON file, which is a file format for datasets and a fully open standard. It can be opened with any text editor, but might be difficult to read if you are unfamiliar with the structure of JSON. You can also import this file into Excel, but please note that this action is not currently supported and may not fully work.
To delete your account, go to the “Settings” tab within the app and select “Delete my account”. Note that this will permanantly erase all your data and entered consumptions and cannot be undone!
The “Solar Power” tab is currently only supported for citizens located in one of our five AURORA demo-sites.
