The European Citizen Science Bi-Annual Conference will be held in Vienna on the 3-6th April 2024. Such has been the demand to attend this conference that it is already sold out. Conference organisers are currently seeking to expand the conference to cope with the demand. Citizen science continues to grow in Europe and this event will share best practice in projects underway in Europe, allow networking amongst delegates and share many events on-line. Project AURORA was presented at this conference in 2022 and this year we will seek to network amongst delegates to secure Ambassadors and lay firm foundations to exploit then outcomes of our work. All the EU Horizon 2020 Green Deal Citizen Science projects need to exploit their success by adhering to the principles of the UNESCO Open Science Recommendation and allow others to use their tools, techniques and business models. Only if we scale up our success can the citizens of Europe make a difference on issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.
