Biography

Fernando Solorio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Nanotechnology granted by UABC, in Mexico, and a Master’s degree in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion, as part of a Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree which takes part in France, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, among others. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Ljubljana, at the Laboratory of Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering focused on the development of perovskite solar cells mini-modules.

Motivation

Fernando is glad to participate as an ambassador for the Aurora project. Coming from a desert region, and being involved in diverse projects related to energy through his career, he is motivated to share his optimist on the transition towards clean energy sources.
