The AURORA Sustainable Action group at the University of Évora is excited to announce a partnership with the NGO SEYN – Sustainable Energy Youth Network, aimed at co-creating five empowering masterclasses accessible to the public. SEYN is committed to enhancing awareness of renewable energy opportunities by implementing projects that expand design and development capabilities, creating alternative pathways for the energy transition.
These masterclasses, open to the public and designed to empower participants, will be offered online and in person. The topics covered include: “How to produce photovoltaic energy at home?”, “How to initiate a community wind energy project?”, “Understanding battery functionality and energy storage solutions”, “Minimizing the impact of photovoltaic plants: solutions and best practices”, and “Energy efficiency: how to reduce your energy bill?”.
These sessions aim to equip participants with knowledge, enabling them to make informed energy decisions and promoting behavioral changes that lead to a reduced individual carbon footprint. The collaboration with the Sustainable Energy Youth Network is made within the scope of the project #SomosEnergia.
