Yes, it is now official. From 27 to 31 January 2025, the University of Ljubljana will host the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme student exchange, named PV&EC Winter School. This programme will welcome students from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and the University of Évora, who are also members of local energy communities at their respective universities. These local energy communities were initiated within the framework of the AURORA project.
As part of the AURORA project, a local energy community for students at the University of Ljubljana was also established, named ŠEK – Študentski energetski klub / Student Energy Club. ŠEK will serve as one of the hosts for the visiting Portuguese and Spanish students. This exchange will facilitate the sharing of best practices among student energy communities.
Naturally, the majority of the time will be dedicated to expert lectures, delivered by an international team at the Laboratory of Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics, operating within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, which will serve as the formal host for the visiting students.
