The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana has submitted the AURORA project and its outcomes for consideration in the 2025 Energy Awards. These are well-established and traditional awards presented by the Slovenian daily newspaper Finance. A panel of experts will select the finalists and winners from the submitted projects. In addition, Finance readers will be able to vote online and choose the recipient of the Readers’ Choice Award.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Energy-Efficient Company or Institution
- Energy-Efficient Project
- Promotional Project in the Field of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources
- Energy Efficiency in Transport and Logistics
The AURORA project is competing in the category “Promotional Projects in the Field of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources.”
The awards ceremony will take place on the opening day of the Energy Days conference, on 14 April 2025, during an evening event at the Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož.
This two-day event annually attracts more than 250 participants to Portorož. A highlight of the conference is the presentation of awards for the most energy-efficient company, the most energy-efficient project, and the most successful renewable energy initiative.
