Volunteer Students support AURORA Project in Madrid

Share

Last February, the UPM team called for volunteers among first year students from the subject Ethical Aspects of Engineering. On March 30th, we held a meeting with a total of 17 students that answered to that call. They are going to help us promote the Energetic Community of the Campus Sur, by giving support in different tasks: diffusion of the Aurora app, searching documentation for future workshops (like “Make your own USB charger”), identifying possible replicators for the project…

For now, some of these students have actively participated in the Arduino workshop, we have received interesting ideas on how to replicate the Aurora project outside universities, and some students are researching how to build USB chargers for electric bikes. They already are part of our Aurora community!
