Project AURORA is reaching out beyond its Pilot Area in the Forest of Dean to inform over 260 Parish and Town Councils in the County of Gloucestershire about ways to tackle climate change through citizen science research. They also provided practical ways practical ways for local people to become prosumers (both producers and users) of energy.

On 26 October 2022, Martin Brocklehurst presented to the Gloucestershire Association of Parish and Town Council to illustrate how project AURORA can support local communities in tackling climate change, in the hope that other parishes will replicate the approach and grow this bottom-up movement.
