Biography

I am a sustainability facilitator I am on a mission to make the green transition of our society easier, smoother, more engaging…. and who knows, maybe even enjoyable. Enjoyable because it is purposeful and mentally empowering to do the right thing for life on our beautiful planet 🌍 I facilitate change, build communities, create sustainable relations with stakeholders, and provide advice to management heads in their decision-making and challenge our habitual ways of thinking. All with respect to people, planet & passion. I was Involved in creating – and implementing Aarhus University’s very first climate strategy and has co-founded a green movement called Walk the Green Talk, where we challenged and tested citizens in Aarhus to find ways to reduce the CO2-emissions in their households.

Motivation

My motivation to get involved with AURORA comes from my previous position as climate initiative lead at Aarhus University. When the researchers explained the project I could see the unique possibility to use the roofs at some of the university’s buildings to place solar panels to reduce the university’s CO2-emissions while supporting research and providing an opportunity for students and employees to become part of a solar community. It was a clear win-win-win situtation. From the first meetings I helped coordinate between university management, building owner and researchers I have been cheering this project on and I am amazed by the efforts and hours that have been put into this project.
