Biography

Owen Jiang is a high school senior at Lexington High School in Massachusetts, USA, currently researching in the fields of oceanic meridional and overturning circulation and its potential modeling using AI techniques. A speaker and author at the IEEE MetroSea 2024 conference, Owen also works on many engineering projects, from repairing cars to renovating AEV power systems to improve energy efficiency, having replaced the battery on the family electric car. Motivation

Professor Bokalič mentioned this program to me in his talk on Photovoltaics at the IEEE MetroSea 2024 conference, and I knew I had to volunteer to be an ambassador: it doesn’t exist on the USA, and I work on environmental science personally and I do electric vehicle switching as well!
