Kazi Imtiaz Kabir

I am an engineer, educator, and humanitarian dedicated to the intersection of Quality Education (SDG 4) and Peace & Justice (SDG 16). With a background in Electrical Engineering and Masters degrees in both Peace, Conflict & Human Rights and Cyber Security(Ongoing), I work to bridge the gap between technical innovation and social impact. Currently, I serve as the Additional Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Research Coordinator at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). In these roles, I champion institutional excellence, manage national research grants (UGC), and drive our campus initiatives towards global sustainability rankings. My commitment to global service is rooted in my experience as a UN Blue Helmet Peacekeeper in South Sudan, where I led infrastructure projects to restore access to education and emergency services. I am an advocate for using Higher Education as a catalyst to solve global challenges, believing that sustainable development requires a blend of engineering precision and humanitarian compassion.
