The XIX Iberian Congress and XV Ibero-American Congress of Solar Energy will take place in Évora, Portugal, under the organization of the University of Évora.
In a framework of evidence of the climate emergency that world is already facing, and which marks the political and media agendas on a national, regional, and global scale and the affirmation of solar energy as one of the main pillars of the Energy Transition, CIES’2024 ensures the continuity of a forum technical and scientific discussion in this field that has spanned for more than four decades. Organized alternately between Portugal and Spain since 1982 and with an extension to the Ibero-American community in fifteen of its nineteen editions, CIES’2024 is the most important congress – and with the greatest tradition – in the Portuguese and Spanish languages, in the field of solar energy.
