AURORA team in Aarhus welcomed a visit from a group of staff and students from Aarhus University on 27th March. 5 people joined this rooftop visit to view the solar photovoltaic installation, which is owned and crowdfunded by members of Universitetets Energifællesskab F.M.B.A (UEF).
During the visit, Zhe Zhang, project coordinator for AURORA demonstrator in Aarhus, explained to the visitors the background of the energy community UEF and answered questions. Participants at the visit had a nice discussion on different topics concerning the energy community: business model of the community, operation and maintenance of the facility, possibility to replicate the model, and so on.
AURORA team at Aarhus University plans to organize more similar visits in the coming months.
