Dr. Elisa Peñalvo López (F) received her degree in Industrial Engineering at Marquette University in 2001, and her Electrical Engineering Degree (2012) and Industrial Engineering PhD at the Universitat Politècnica de València in 2017. She has more than 15 years of experience in Research Energy Project Management. Along these years, she has closely collaborated with Universities, Research Centers and Industry in numerous R&D projects, national and internationally. Collaborations include Brunel University in London, Iberdrola, RWE Electricity, Gaz De France, RWE, Tractebel, Siemens, and Unión Fenosa. As a researcher, her main interest include the Integration of Renewable Energies, Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Energy Development Strategies, and Climate Adaptation and Mitigation projects. Furthermore, during the last couple years she has carried out several international research fellowships in University Tor Vergata (Rome), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (San Francisco), and Université Libre de Bruxelles – ULB (Brussels). She has participated in more than 40 energy research projects, contributed in more than 30 scientific articles and participated in 45 congresses in the area of sustainable energy.
