Green Transition and Environmental Literacy in the Food System training program

Within the framework of the NOO ULTRA project, ULTRA@AGRIFOOD, a pilot program for lifelong learning and microcredentials will be conducted at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana from March 6th to April 25th. The program “Green Transition and Environmental Literacy in the Food System” will include expert lectures aimed at providing an overview and fundamentals of all aspects of sustainability within food systems and food production. It will illuminate the natural sciences, energy, technology and innovation, as well as economic and social aspects. Participation is free, and participants will receive a training certificate.

The lectures will be delivered in a hybrid format, with live meetings at the Biotechnical Faculty in Ljubljana (Jamnikarjeva ulica 101) and online lectures on the MS Teams platform. In addition to lectures, the program includes group work, seminars, and the possibility to participate in field lessons.

Applications are open through the form until Friday, March 1, 2024. Participation is free, but spaces are limited. The prerequisite for participation is at least completed secondary education and a good command of the English language due to the potential use of literature in English.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a training certificate valued at three credit points (ECTS).
