Biography

Merisha Fernando holds a Master’s degree in Nanoscience and Technology from Anna University, India. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Ljubljana, where she focuses on photonic integrated circuits (PICs). Her research involves the intricate design and precise patterning of PIC structures. Through her work, she aims to improve the integration and functionality of PICs. Her research contributes significantly to the evolving field of photonics.

Motivation

Merisha Fernando is excited to be an ambassador for the Aurora project, sharing its mission to promote sustainable solutions through innovative technology. Her dedication to advancing green technologies aligns perfectly with Aurora’s vision for a brighter, more inclusive future.
