Chris Rigby is the Technical Lead at Big Solar Co-op, working to accelerate community-led solar PV deployment across the UK. With over 15 years of experience in renewable energy, he specialises in designing,
delivering, and maintaining rooftop solar installations. Chris holds a degree in Renewable Energy from the University of Exeter and has a background in electrical building services engineering. Driven by a commitment to building resilient, sustainable communities, he is passionate about applying his skills and expertise to practical solutions that combat climate change. In addition to his technical work, Chris serves as a local Green Councillor on Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council and actively advocates for climate action and green energy solutions.
