Today, the PV&EC Winter School began at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. This is the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme student exchange, involving participants from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and the University of Évora, both of whom are also members of local energy communities at their universities.

Why is it important that these students are members of local energy communities? Because it facilitates the transfer of best practices, experiences, and knowledge.
During the programme, the visiting students will also engage with students from the University of Ljubljana, who are members of a local energy community known as ŠEK – the Student Energy Club / Študentski energetski klub. The establishment of all three student energy communities was encouraged as part of the AURORA project.
The PV&EC Winter School serves as an extension and enhancement of the AURORA project, as it fosters direct connections among key stakeholders of the AURORA project.
