These events were held at IdeaSquare, CERN&#8217;s innovation space.<\/p><p>Martin Brocklehurst from AURORA discussed the role of citizen science in addressing environmental issues and filling the democratic deficit in international agreements.<\/p><p>Using best case examples, the presentation highlighted how citizen science projects can be used to develop global policy programmes with a real impact on the fight against climate change.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9f3f63c elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"9f3f63c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*!
